Customer Service Management Sets You Apart From The Competition.
Posted by Aryeh.Landowne on Jul 15, 2009
Many businesses think customer service is just one aspect of their business and it often gets lost as businesses focus more on product development or sales or marketing. But in today’s market there is so much competition, and often the competition is better than you or offers exactly what you offer. So how do you differentiate your business from your competition?
Customer Experience Management or CEM is a business strategy that focuses and redefines your business from your customer’s viewpoint. It involves all aspects of your business, from marketing and research to product development and pricing. Today all it takes is one bad experience to hurt your company. For example, Eric writes a popular blog about technology. He is looking to purchase a new HD television. After much consideration he picks out a “PannaSony” Plasma TV, purchases it, sets it up and begins watching. Halfway through the first episode of Mad Men, half his screen goes black. He calls customer service and waits on hold for hours before finally he reaches someone who is no help to him, All it takes is one blog post on Eric’s blog for thousands of his readers to hear about how bad PannaSony’s customer service is.
Enter Strativity. Strativity can help your company implement a Customer Experience Management strategy and improve your company’s customer experience and in doing so improve the company’s reputation for service, which will set you apart from the competition. With good customer service Eric, the blogger, might still write a blog post about his new TV’s issues but instead of a post bashing the customer service at PannaSony, he writes about his pleasant experience on the phone with a real person and how they sent someone to install a new model within a week.
A positive experience published in a blog can go a long way to sway potential customers or clients and the first step is to actually make your customer service the best it can be. And for that there is Strativity.
Have You Heard of Implantable Contact Lens?
Posted by Edan Shertzer on Jun 9, 2009
Implantable contact lenses or ICLs (also known as phakic intraocular lenses or implantable collamer lenses), are a type of internal corrective lens for the eye. Just like external contact lens, ICLs operate correct the natural shape of the eye’s lens, with the exception that ICLs are surgically inserted into the eye and stay there permanently. There are some big pluses to ICL surgery: for one, ICLs can often correct high refractive errors that LASIK or PRK surgeries simply can’t accomplish. Another advantage over laser surgery is that phakic IOLs do not alter the tissue of the eye, preventing potential damage and infection. Finally, ICL surgery is not only safe, it’s reversible through a minor outpatient procedure.
ICLs are a relatively new surgical option for vision correction, but Dr. Ilan Cohen and his team at the Fifth Avenue Eye Center have pioneered it from the start. In fact, Dr. Cohen was the first eye surgeon in the New York Tri-State area to perform this surgery. Call (866) 731-3937 for more information on the Fifth Avenue Eye Center or to schedule an appointment, and find out whether you are a candidate for ICL.

Posted by Edan Shertzer on May 22, 2009
New York’s commercial real estate market has been through a lot these past few months. Depending on who you ask, the market might now be emerging from the mess, or it might be dipping into a deeper malaise. The truth is that there’s a whole lot of theorizing going on, and whoever turns out to be right about the outcome should probably thank blind luck as much as personal smarts.

LASIK’s Great, But It’s Not Your Only Option
Posted by Edan Shertzer on May 21, 2009
There’s no denying the great impact the LASIK procedure has had on the ophthalmological profession. LASIK surgery is a short and painless procedure that can permanently correct vision deficiencies a person may have possessed for years. Small wonder the number of patients who undergo the procedure continues to grow each year.
But not everyone is a candidate for LASIK. Some patients may have conditions that prevent them from qualifying for LASIK. If you’re in this position, what should you do?
Luckily, there are eyecare centers out there that offer safe and reliable alternatives to LASIK. The best center in the Tri-State region is the Fifth Avenue Eye Center, which is led by Dr. Ilan Cohen, a surgeon widely known for his expertise and skill with LASIK and an assortment of alternative procedures. The Fifth Avenue Eye Center offers LASEK surgery, which dispenses with the LASIK flap and is an option for patients whose corneas are very flat or very thin. Implantable contact lens such as Visian ICL are another possibility — Dr. Cohen happens to be the first surgeon in New York to perform ICL surgery.
All refractive surgeries, though, must begin with an eye exam. To schedule an appointment at the Fifth Avenue Eye Center, please call (866) 731-3937. You can also send an e-mail to info@nyceyedoc.com.
As Lenders Tighten Belt, People Capital Offers Borrowers New Way of Getting Student Loans
Posted by Edan Shertzer on May 20, 2009
The instability of the economy the last few months has made it that much more difficult for undergraduate and graduate students to obtain the type of even-handed (relatively speaking) student loans their recent predecessors were able to obtain to finance their education. Credit is tight, which means a borrower’s personal credit rating is now more significant than ever in determining whether that borrower is eligible for a good private loan.
Luckily, People Capital’s innovative peer-to-peer lending (p2p) platform provides students with a way around the traditional private loan trap. People Capital doesn’t isolate a borrower’s credit score as the single factor in determining creditworthiness. Using its Human Capital Score, a data-driven method for calculating potential future income, People Capital is able to produce a powerful and versatile risk analysis profile for each borrower. With p2p, students can borrow their loans from any number of lenders — philanthropic groups, individual investors, even friends and family members. Of course, loans are still competitive. As a whole, though, p2p student loans are much more easily customized to fit the needs of the individual borrower than the traditional loans brokered by large and impersonal financial institutions.
People Capital now has a section on its website dedicated to the latest peer-to-peer news. If recent events are any indication, p2p lending might be the next big thing in private student loans.

Amber Court Assisted Living Communities Reaffirms Its Commitment To Seniors On Medicaid

Amber Court Assisted Living Communities Reaffirms Its Commitment To Seniors On Medicaid Amber Court (http://www.AmberCourtAL.com) reaffirms its commitment to seniors on Medicaid. New Jersey Public Advocate Ronald K. Chen’s investigation of Wisconsin-based Assisted Living Concepts, revealed a history of evictions when residents depleted their personal savings.
Westbury, NY (PRWEB) April 22, 2009 — Raphael Weiss, Managing Director of Amber Court Assisted Living (AmberCourtAL.com), assured that his commitment to residents and to the Medicaid-funded program would always be honored in their communities. “Frail, elderly people are entitled to peace of mind and security. They deserve the opportunity to age in place. We are here to love and care for our residents regardless of financial circumstances.”
NJ Public Advocate Ronald K. Chen’s investigation of Wisconsin based Assisted Living Concepts, revealed a history of evictions when residents depleted their personal savings. The company operates 200 facilities throughout the country, including 8 in southern New Jersey. It avoided a $66,000 fine when it halted the involuntary discharge of 90-year-old Lillie Hatcher from Lindsay House in Pennsville.
Health Care Association of NJ represents the long-term care industry. Its president, Paul Langevin Jr., commented that the report “does not characterize the majority of assisted living companies and residences in the state.” He said the industry, with 200 facilities serving 17,000 people, “has been an overwhelming success story.”
Raphael Weiss is proud that Amber Court, with locations in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Long Island and Elizabeth, New Jersey, is a fine example of assisted living at its best. “Not only do residents remain with us after transitioning to Medicaid, seniors who already have Medicaid are welcome to live here as well.”
This commitment echoes the sentiments of Senator Jeff Van Drew (D-Cape May, Cumberland and Atlantic). In response to Public Advocate Ronald Chen’s findings, the senator said, “New Jersey’s senior citizens are a precious resource to be treasured – living connections to our shared past. They are our mothers and fathers, our aunts and uncles, and our grandparents…they deserve to be treated with the respect and reverence they have earned.”
