“After witnessing such a great turnout for our January seminar, I knew we were on to something” said internationally renowned marketing expert Raphi Salem in announcing the continuation of his free NYC based website marketing seminar.
“January’s seminar showed us that there is a demand for this sort of service and education,” Salem said. “With the IPO of Facebook during the last month, more and more people want to know about how to get online, how to market themselves and how to jump on the social media train.”
To give local businesses, organizations and professionals the power they need to jump start their online knowledge, SalemGlobal Internet is continuing to offer free marketing seminars in midtown Manhattan. The next seminar will be hosted by AXA Advisors at 1290 Avenue of the Americas on Thursday March 1, 2012. 8:30-10am. To RSVP please contact info@salemglobal.com. For a complete list of dates, locations and times, please visit http://www.TheSeminarSeries.com
These seminars will teach anyone the fundamentals of website marketing with the goal of motivating businesses to start promoting themselves online and professionals how to do it themselves. The SalemGlobal Internet Website Marketing Seminar Series will focus on how to buy strategic domain names, where to host a website, how to write and upload content to a website, develop a linking strategy, conduct keyword research, implement meta data, write articles, construct and distribute interactive press releases, produce online videos (Youtube), use social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn), generate leads from Google, Bing and Yahoo local listings and pay per click advertising (PPC).
“My seminars have really helped a large number of small businesses and professionals by giving them an edge over their competition and other job candidates.” Salem said. “In a matter of an hour, any professional can learn the fundamentals of getting online and marketing their organization on the world wide web.”
Salem is reaching out to local businesses and professionals in the healthcare, real estate, auto, insurance and financial sectors, but of course all are welcome. In the past even other marketing and advertising agencies and firms have taken advantage of these free seminars. Salem will also make house calls and teach his formula for success to mostly any group that invites him, shares his positive attitude and believes they can really make a difference by using technology and the internet to get ahead.
A 20-year old-school advertising veteran, Salem has appeared before hundreds of audiences both in the United States and abroad. Salem has spoken to and shared his online money-making strategies with countless students and professionals, at universities and organizations throughout the world.

SalemGlobal Fixes The Economy By Remaking Dirty Dancing. Ex-Gov Hugh Carey Dies: What your business can learn from government mess ups and if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Yes ladies and gentlemen. What you heard and just read is true. Dirty Dancing with Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey is being remade. Not by SalemGlobal. That was just a trick to make you look. But the funny thing is that that is my point today… what your business can learn from false advertising. By the way, I say remake movies as often as possible. Every generation. Spiderman. Superman. Batman. Begins. Returns. Ends. Sequels. Hey. I am a capitalist and an entrepreneur. So its all about making money and merchandising. I wish I had a piece of that action. This is sure to make money for all involved. Read more about it here: http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/celebritology/post/jennifer-grey-is-cool-with-dirty-dancing-remake/2011/08/10/gIQAzyga6I_blog.html
Very similar to the latest in awesome videos on YouTube that show cool sports things that are actually real advertisements. Check out Evan Longoria’s crazy bare handed catch. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tMujgAAyH-I&feature=related It’s actually an ad for Gillette. And then the funnier video is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=imtJpRoT1uM&feature=related (Oh. And most people have seen the video because they think it’s Eva Longoria (not Evan)
And on a sad note, Ex-Governor Hugh Carey died this week at 92. http://www.timesunion.com/local/article/Funeral-Thursday-in-NYC-for-ex-Gov-Carey-1786773.php

Clarence Clemens, Ryan Dunn, Jackass, Your Grandmother on Facebook, H&H Bagels Closing Down: What you can learn from the saxophone, drunk driving, old age and the best bagels in the world
Posted by Salem Global on Jun 22, 2011

Big Man Clarence Clemons died at a young age of 69 this past week. As the famous saxophonist for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band taught us, you can be a huge star and end out on top. I missed my chance to see the boss play at a concert about 2 years ago and now I have to chalk that one up next to missing out on the Grateful Dead as well. I guess I can always go to a Justin Beiber concert and get the same value – right? http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/news/la-et-quick-20110622,0,7791922.story Oh and while we are at it, here is a clip of Clarence from the classic movie Airplane! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVq4_HhBK8Y
Speaking of people who died this week, I never knew his name but I guess now I do. I guess if you drive drunk then indeed you are a jackass. So good luck to Ryan Dunn and the rest of the jackasses out there who drink and drive. Maybe it will teach us all a lesson? 34 years old and so much more to live for.. http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1666021/jackass-ryan-dunn-dead.jhtml
And on the other end of the spectrum, it seems like your grandma just sent me a message that she wants to be my friend on Facebook. AWKWARD! http://mashable.com/2011/06/22/grandparents-social-networking/ . But it makes sense. Older people are living longer so they have more time to kill. Obviously they should waste their time on Facebook… On the other hand, I think South Park got it right in this episode. “Stan. Poke your grandma!” http://www.southparkstudios.com/clips/269233/poke-your-grandma
And in the last of the sad news from this week, it seems like $1.50 doesn’t cut it for a bagel anymore. (Remember when you could get a loaf of bread for a nickel?) H&H bagels are closing its upper west side store on 79 street today (or was it yesterday?) Darn – where am I going to get bagels now!?! http://blogs.wsj.com/metropolis/2011/06/21/hhbagels-to-close-on-upper-west-side-manhatta/?blog_id=147&post_id=13434
So what have we learned this week? Play the sax, don’t be a jackass, poke your grandma and find a new bagel place. Of course you might want to blog about all this and post it to your Facebook or twitter account, and that is how you generate more business. Don’t see the connection? I guess you need to hire SalemGlobal to manage your business as well as your personal social media accounts? Call Raphi Salem at 212-222-3292 or email him at info@salemglobal.com for more info. Enjoy the summer… yesterday was the first day…
